I have a short story which I am really keen to share with you guys. This is a story from a book that I read.
Start:
A farmer found a little boy sobbing away in darkness, holding a tiny oil lamp by his side.
"What's the matter?" asked the farmer.
The boy lifted his tear stricken face and said, "I need to cross the forest to reach my village on the other side. My mother is waiting for me. But I am so scared of the dark."
"But you have a lamp with you." the farmer suggested.
"Yes I do, but it can show me only a few feet of the way and the village is at least three miles away." complained the boy amidst sobs.
The wise farmer made the boy stand up and asked him to take a step, "Just watch one step at a time and you will reach home!"
The boy took every step in light and soon reached his village without fear.
End.
How many of us actually scared and worried about the things that we don't know yet? How often do your fears blind you from seeing the value of all that you have? Motivation is like fuel which need to be refill once in a time. Hope that this short story can help to cheer up your day :D
